The Beas Kund is known as the water of life and is a Hindu pilgrimage site. It’s located in Kullu, which is a valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. The name Kullu means “many colours” in the local language. . If you’re welcome by this breathtaking sight, it would instantly lift your spirits sky-high! This quick hike is moderately strenuous and ends with one of the most beautiful spots imaginable in all that surrounds it as far as the eye can see. It’s definitely a rejuvenating experience and well worth every leg-aching step along its 3-mile trail…which leads through tiny paths avoiding precipices along steep slopes to reach its end point!

And one of these scenic views is the sight of three mountains, Sirari, Panchachuli and Neelkanth peak on your right (when going from Manali towards Beas Kund), which stand along the mountain range that marks Manali’s northern rim.
In ancient times the Beas River was considered sacred and seen as a gift from Lord Vishnu, who held the world on his shoulders. The people of the area believe that entering it at any stretch enriches them.

On clear days, you’ll also be able to spot other peaks from the Pir Panjal Range like Mt Indrasen, Deo Tibba and more!
